Positions: Beginner Girls Recreation & Preschool Background: Before joining the SAGA family, Megan was a former level 7 competitive gymnast in Albuquerque. She has spent the last 18 years professionally trained in ballet, hip-hop and contemporary dance. She began her dance career through the National Dance Institute of New Mexico in fourth grade. In 2005 while attending the Public Academy for Performing Arts, she joined Dance Theater Southwest where she studied and performed under the direction of Patricia Dickenson-Wells. Her achievements include 5 seasons with Festival Ballet Albuquerque as a corps de ballet and Demi-soloist. Her senior year of high school she was accepted into Joffrey Ballet Company - Chicago Summer Intensive. She is a Regional Dance America Alumni and in 2022 attended the National Choreography Intensive at Wright State University. Megan is currently a full-time student at Grand Canyon University studying Behavioral Health Science with an Emphasis in Trauma. She is passionate about behavioral health and aims to reduce recidivism rates in women post-incarceration struggling with substance use. She is excited to join the SAGA family!
